Our Vision:

Our vision for the UP Association of Rural Health Services is to be a major health provider in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan which offers a coordinated and expanded system of primary care including medical, oral health, nutrition, vision, preventive care, mental health and pharmacy.

You may not know anyone who cannot afford health care; but many of your UP neighbors come to our clinics daily that are greatly in need of medical or dental treatment. We are proud to offer them quality care and provide the assistance they need at the time.

However, health care costs a lot these days, and for those with limited income or with no insurance it may mean that their illness may go untreated.

The Upper Peninsula Association of Rural Health Services has the policy that we will accept anyone in need whether able to pay or not.

This is where you come in! Since UPARHS is a non-profit organization we depend on your donations to help our neighbors who live below the poverty line. A donation whether large or small means that you are actually helping those in need.
